Elka von Ellgau is a beautiful 3 year old German Shepherd. A loving girl who is on the calmer side, Elka enjoys attention from her human admirers - she will give you little nudges to remind you that it’s time to offer some affection… Nothing makes her happier than leaning on you while you give her ear-scratches and body pets. Elka is housebroken. She loves a leash walk and starts out with a gentle, medium energy. While making sure to maintain a “Heel” position by your side, she meets other dogs very nicely (even when face-to-face), not minding becoming part of a group. This exquisite young lady also boasts perfect knowledge and execution of the “Sit” command, takes treats gently and is an explorer at heart. If playgroups were a cocktail party, she would be the perfect hostess: she greets all other canines present, mingles perfectly with the furry-crowd, investigates every nook and cranny of the yard and does well sharing space with other dogs. Consummately adept at doggie socializing, Elka is a “no-go” for cats.
